Speaking of Teens
Episode #11: Ever Let Your Teen or Tween Drink Alcohol? Let’s Talk.
In Western societies it seems teenagers are almost expected to drink at some point. While most parents don’t approve, some do feel it’s best if they’re the one to introduce alcohol to their kid rather than leaving it to someone else.
There are many reasons parents allow their teens to drink alcohol with them (remove the mystique, teach them to drink responsibly, drink at home where they’re safe, family celebration, etc.)
What do you think? Have you even broached the subject yet? Have you already allowed your teen or tween to drink alcohol on occasion?
Don’t jump to any conclusions. Join me as I review the science and then you can decide for yourself. This is really interesting stuff!
